"With over 15 years of dedicated experience in implementing and assessing cybersecurity frameworks for both DoD and commercial organizations, Rachel Leidy stands as a seasoned expert in the field. As the CEO of CyberSage Solutions, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, empowering clients to navigate the complex landscape of cybersecurity with confidence.
Rachel's journey in cybersecurity began over a decade and a half ago, where she honed her skills across a diverse array of frameworks and standards. Her comprehensive understanding encompasses pivotal regulations such as NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, the Risk Management Framework - DoDI 8510.01, Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR), FISMA, as well as specialized assessments like Navy Blue Team Assessments, among others.
In addition to her proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks, Rachel has also served as both an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), shouldering the responsibility of safeguarding critical information assets and ensuring compliance with stringent security protocols.
Prior to her role as CEO, Rachel's journey in cybersecurity was preceded by a distinguished career in the United States Navy. During her years of service as a Cryptologic Technician Networks (CTN) specialist, she garnered invaluable experience and expertise that laid the foundation for her subsequent success in the DoD contracting and private sectors.
Rachel's commitment to excellence extends beyond her professional endeavors; she has also served as a Disaster Recovery Officer and Contingency Plan Coordinator, demonstrating her proactive approach to risk mitigation and business continuity.
